Quinn Interactive designs fresh new look and efficient content management systems

On April 22, 2004, BusinessLaw.gov, the Small Business Administration's (SBA) legal reference website, launched a redesigned version of the site, featuring a fresh, attractive, site-wide look and a dynamic new content management system (CMS).

With this launch, BusinessLaw.gov became a more potent resource for entrepreneurs, lawyers and researchers than it had ever been before, offering users much easier access to information from a wide range of government agencies, public access groups and business organizations. In addition, the newly implemented content management systems as made the site significantly more efficient to administer.

In order derive the maximum benefit from their comprehensive site redesign, BusinessLaw brought in website development and content management experts Quinn Interactive with application service provider Atomz Corproartion. Quinn Interactive drew on their ten year's of Internet design experience, making use of leading content design tools Atomz Publish and Atomz Search to create the best possible information flow for the site.

Quinn Interactive designed multi-phased program for the site's CMS integration and maintenance. This included migrating data from the site's original database system into XML for import into Atomz Publish, through which the data was easily uploaded into the new site. Quinn Interactive also set up new site templates and a more efficient information flow. In addition, the company simplified the HTML makeup of the site, a "less is more" streamlining procedure that improved the site's visual appeal and usability.

The site now displays more clearly and consistently across a broad range of browsers, and is fully compliant with all Federal requirements concerning accessibility for users with sight impairments and other physical challenges.
