Meetup: SilverStripe CMS and Sapphire MVC framework
SilverStripe is Quinn Interactive's go-to open source CMS. It's designed to be modern, intuitive, and capable of running all kinds of websites. It's also the friend of the PHP developer because at its heart is Sapphire, an MVC framework written in PHP 5.

Sigurd Magnusson(@sigurdmagnusson) is one of three co-founders of SilverStripe Ltd. He has worked in the business for more than ten years. He's been living and breathing the internet since 1995 when his city council provided the only local internet service, then entirely text-based. The potential of the internet piqued his interest and he began learning computer programming. Sigurd is an evangelist for the principles and technology of the web, and is an avid supporter of open source, open data, and the web as a modern software platform. Off the web, he enjoys spending time with his family, cross-country mountain biking in New Zealand, and experiencing foreign cultures.
